Dog Academy’s senior instructor, Mark Tasker, has over 20 years’ professional dog handling and training experience.
He is a Home Office Approved Dog Instructor, has a Diploma in Dog Psychology as well as a Level 3 Advanced Btec in search dog handling and has qualified as a Master Dog Trainer.
Mark is a full member of The British Institute of Professional Dog Trainers (link: BIPDT) and an educational advisor to the Guild of Dog Trainers (link: GODT).
Sue Loughran has been with the Dog Academy for 5 years. She has a Diploma in Dog Psychology, she has also taken and passed Certificates in Essential skill in Basic Dog Training and Essential Skills in Puppy Training with the Cambridge Institute of Dog Behaviour and Training.
Sue teaches in all classes from puppies through to adult dogs, ranging from beginners and intermediate to advanced.
The club runs classes or Sessions in general pet obedience, Working Trials, fun agility and scent discrimination.

Our difference is in our approach. We believe in the personal touch, training your dog and you to the level that you want and require. We understand that all dogs and owners are different and require different training and motivation to achieve their personal goals. We aim to providing a complete dog training service. Our dog classes are held for puppies to adult dogs, ranging from beginners, intermediate to advanced and specialist, which means no matter what your dogs standard there will be a suitable class for you. As well as good quality dog training we arrange lectures with guest speakers and have formed partnerships with companies offering dog-related services. Dog Academy’s trainers will travel to clients in Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, North London and occasionally further afield for one-to-one training sessions.
