Have more fun and get out in the open and get fitter, join our working trials training class.

This is aimed at getting you and your dog ready to take part in working trials.
In this class you will learn how to follow a track with your dog; working as a team you will follow a track laid by someone else up to two hours before.
You will learn how to train your dog to find and retrieve items of property hidden in a search square.
Also in this class are: jumping a six foot scale, three foot clear jump and a nine foot long jump (these are for your dog to jump, not you, so don’t worry)...

Working Trials

You will teach your dog to sit stay for two minutes and a down stay for ten minutes out of sight of the owner.
Heel-work and a send-away to a given point in a field are also included.
There are various levels within working trials which you can take part in as you gain experience and skill.
One of the best things about this sport is that you are not competing against anyone else; you are just trying to gain enough points to qualify and gain your certificate.
Working trails are organized all around the country, so there are plenty of opportunities to join in.
